I’m a working truck driver. I spend my days hauling freight and my nights watching software companies promise drivers the moon — “AI-powered” this, “fully automated” that. Most of it is marketing. Some of it is genuinely useful. Truck AI Guide exists to tell the difference.

Every tool on this site gets the same treatment: I go to the vendor’s official site, verify the actual price (not the launch promo), and separate real AI features from plain automation dressed up in buzzwords. And if a tool claims it’s built for truckers, I ask whether it actually fits life on the road — snapping receipts at the fuel island, one-thumb phone use between docks, ELD hours, spotty signal.

• Head-to-head comparisons — real numbers, real differences, no fence-sitting.
• No paid rankings — affiliate links keep the lights on, but they don’t buy placement. If something’s bad, I say so — including tools I could earn a commission from.

It’s not a tech blog written by people who’ve never backed into a dock. It’s not sponsored content. And it’s not financial or legal advice — just one driver’s homework, shared so you don’t have to redo it.
